Some health insurance plans under Medicare, Medicaid, employer-provided health plans, or other insurance providers, including HMSA, Kaiser, United Healthcare (UHC), UHA Health Insurance, Moda Health, Ohana Health Plan by Wellcare, HMAA, Aloha Care, AARP Medicare, and others may cover the cost of a YMCA of Honolulu membership.

Health Plan members enjoy all the benefits of a regular Y membership at the Y EXCEPT nationwide access.

To Enroll or Renew:

  1. Using your fitness or confirmation code, enroll or renew:
    • In person at any Y Location Welcome Center; OR
    • *Online; OR
    • *Calling our Service Center at 808-678-4296
  2. After renewing or enrolling, visit and scan at the Y as soon as possible to confirm your Health Plan Y membership is active. Then, scan in at least once a month to ensure our YMCA receives reimbursement from your health plan. If you miss a month, we will not receive a payment from your health plan, which helps us continue serving you and our community in many important ways.

*Pro-Tip: Health Plan Membership must be renewed annually between January 1-31 to ensure no lapses in your membership.
